This course is offered in the afternoon class periods, is open to students from elementary to advanced level and focuses on a communicative approach to learning.

Including all the elements of Standard General English (GE1), this more intensive course complements the work of morning classes with a focus on additional conversation based activities in an afternoon group class.

General English with Business is designed specifically for students who are interested in developing their general English language skills and enhancing them in particular for work in a business setting. Studying in group classes, the course is planned to provide participants with the business English skills needed for their jobs or careers. It can also provide an excellent preparation for future studies, such as an MBA. The course focuses on the skills needed to communicate effectively in both formal and informal business and social situations.

Students who wish to complement their Standard General English study with individual tuition find this course option of considerable benefit. Group classes in the morning are supplemented with one hour of tailored intensive tuition in the afternoon. A personal programme for individual tuition is worked out and agreed with the tutor at the beginning of classes and may be reviewed as necessary.

Taking private lessons allows students to benefit from flexible English tuition tailored to their individual requirements. Lessons can follow a structured format or can be arranged to concentrate on a particular area of the student's choice.
