Focus Group Russia

This time Caroline met six Russian students on our roof top. With some lovely Sandwhiches and refreshing Orange juice we talked about Russia and Ireland, our school and Galway.

Expectations
Why Ireland?
Ireland is cheaper compared to other destinations
A travel agency recommended Atlamtic Language 
Galway
To enjoy the combination of travelling and education
(Some went to France, Spain, England and then Ireland  was next on the list)
To improve English to study at an English speaking 
University
To have better carrier chances in English speaking 
countries
Visa Regulations
You can easily access visa information on the net.Everything is explained there very detailed. The
visa is usually ready within 10 days
Travel Agencies can support students by supplying a visa.
The visa for Ireland is not too expensive. At the moment it costs 2200 Rubel (€60.00)
The procedure is compared to other countries very easy and much quicker
Our School
All students have been studying English in different
destinations, such as Englland, America, Malta or even Spain or France.
Compared to other language schools Irish language
 schools offer less expensive courses and accommodation
Accommodation
Students who lived with host families are very happy with them. They like the food and feel comfortable. Only the shower system is a mystery to them. But they are now used to it.
Students who lived in school apartments think they are very comfortable, nice and close to the city
Recommendations & Suggestions
Tuition
It would be interesting to get writing tasks about different topics over the weekend. They think this could help to build up vocabulary in different areas.
Sport Activities
They all think there should be more sport organised. Not only once a week. Not only soccer
Would it even be possible to organise an area for table tennis in the afternoon For them this would be great to relax and to meet other students
