Focus Group Italy

In the break time I met 7 of our Italian students to chat about our school, the Irish people and the weather in Galway.

This is what the Focus Group Italy had to say:

Focus Group Italy

School Facilities
They all think the school building is very nice and modern
The internet connection in the computer lab could be a bit faster and longer available
For them the class rooms have a comfortable size
The nationality mix is super. Even if there are other Italians in the class everyone practises their English
Tuition
All of them think there could be more speaking excercises in class. They think that's how you learn best
There could also be more listening excercises to get used to different accents of the English language
Social Activities
In general they are very pleased with the social activity programme
They suggest to have events related to the different nationalities to get to know the other cultures as well (similar to the International Food day)
They are all very interested in the Irish culture and love all the activities related to it (such as the Irish History and Culture class or the St. Patrick's Day activities or the Ceili events)
Accommodation
Gort na Coiribe
The apartment is very modern, clean and spacious
Salt Lake Apartments
It's great that the apartment is so close to the school
The apartment is also very nice with a fantastic view over a small lake
Host Family Accommodation
Most students are very happy with their host families. They are friendly and compared to the Italian Cuisine the food is ok

Compared to other language schools Atlantic's staff is so friendly and always available. The building is very modern, the school is comfortable and the teachers are great.
Should I go back to Italy I will always remember the Irish friendliness and Galway's amazing night live.

We have just arrived in Galway and to the school. We are really happy here and are enjoying our stay.

I really like the school and the facilities. Galway is a great place.

Galway is a very nice and close city with so many things to see and do.
When I go back to Italy I will always remember the friendly staff of the school and all the friends I met. I will never forget the lovely pubs and discos.
It's just the best experience of my life.
Ilaria BARDELLA, Turin
Standard General English (GE1)
I really love my school apartment. It has such a nice view over the lovely lake "Lough Atalia". What's funny: There is a beautiful swan walking by every day at 5pm!
