CLIL in Practice
The aim of this course is to develop teachers’ knowledge of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) showing how this method can be used to introduce new languages through specific course content. This practical course will be useful to any teacher who faces the challenge of teaching their subject in a language which is not their students’ mother tongue. The course will show how to plan and implement activities based on the key language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Participants will be introduced to a range of CLIL resources and aids, and will learn how to develop attractive material that can be adapted to their subject teaching.
